Graduate Level Intern (she/her/hers) brittney@newmoonrisingwellness.com 615-628-7239 *accepting new clients, sliding scale available* Life doesn't always deal us the easiest cards, but I hold a deep love for helping people navigate life transitions and the grief that can often accompany them. I believe that each person has, within them, everything they need to grow and heal, and I see it as a great honor to learn about the lived experiences of my clients and to support their journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance so they can live as their full, unabashed, authentic selves. I love working with women, teens, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, and am particularly passionate about helping clients work through issues of overcontrol-- things like disordered eating, body image challenges, chronic people pleasing, and perfectionism. To support my clients, I leverage mindfulness-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy as well as parts work. I am currently completing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health at Trevecca Nazarene University. When I'm not working or in school, you can find me getting outside with my husband and goldendoodle, baking, traveling, reading a good novel, listening to any and all Taylor Swift music, and spending time with friends. |
