Works with adolescents, adults, and couples.

What is normal? This question is so common to adolescents, teens, and their parents. Adolescence and teenage years are filled with change on many levels. Add trauma, neurodivergence, parental divorce, or other extra stressors - it can feel like you're on an emotional rollercoaster that will never end.

I am here to help. I love working with adolescents and teens to help them navigate this unique time in their lives. I take a strengths-based approach, creating safety and a space to explore without judgment. Clients can expect warmth and unconditional positive regard with the helpful integration of biological insight. I integrate dialectical behavior therapy and other evidence-based treatment with creative interventions, taking the pressure to speak or answer questions for an hour away and honoring the stage of neurological development.

I am certified in Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) which utilizes music to shift baseline symptoms by providing nervous system regulation. So for some, therapy means telling a story through TV characters. Others, it may be drawing feelings. Some listen to music during therapy while others talk for 50 minutes. I have direct experience addressing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, divorce, trauma, blended family dynamics, anxiety, and other common stressors. Parents, I am happy to also provide psychoeducation or therapy addressing parenting through trauma, neurodivergence, divorce, and family structure changes.

A mother of three myself, I firmly believe that each parent and child are doing the best that they can each day. I am here to help make that best feel a lot better!
