Our Approach to Working with LGBTQIAS2+ Individuals

At New Moon Rising Wellness, we celebrate all individuals and identities. You are welcome and wanted here.

Whether you or a loved one need a safe and open environment to explore gender and sexual identities, are navigating relationship shifts, or are seeking liberation from the trauma of living within heteronormative and cisnormative systems, we have experience and resources to support you in every phase.

Exploration of Gender + Sexual Identities

We do not believe gender or sexual identities are problems that need to be fixed, but rather ones that should be explored in safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate spaces. Our team’s role is to provide a safe, educated and resourceful place where you are free to explore at your own pace, with no specific destination in mind.

Navigating Partnerships + Relationships

Just like we believe in celebrating all identities, we also support individuals navigating partnerships and relationships of all kinds. You may be struggling with the idea of coming out to loved ones, grieving the loss of community or relationships, or navigating relationships where loved ones have recently come out. Regardless of where you or your loved one are in navigating these relationship dynamics, we are a safe space and have resources that can help.

Trauma of Living In Oppressive Systems

We acknowledge the harm done by oppressive systems and the impact of this harm on LGBTQIAS2+ individuals. We know that you or your loved one have likely experienced distressing or traumatic situations simply for being who you are. Our trauma-informed team can assist you in finding relative safety in a heteronormative and cisnormative society and can offer a safe space to process these discriminatory experiences.
