“When your soul feels heard, you can move forward.”

I believe in your capacity for change, healing and growth. But sometimes life gets in the way. Perhaps you feel stuck, anxious or discouraged. Or maybe you’re still trying to make sense of something that happened to you long ago. The stories we’re placed into often shape the ones we tell about ourselves.

My intention as your counselor is to come alongside you, listen deeply without judgment, and foster meaningful self-discovery and growth. I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents struggling with trauma, depression, or anxiety as well as individuals navigating life change, confusion or discontent.

Together we may find new ways of looking at your situation that will allow you to move forward in new, empowering, and hope-filled ways. My approach is person-centered and attachment-based, including a combination of narrative therapy and CBT techniques. I want to help you connect more deeply to yourself so you can exist more fully in your life. When your soul feels heard, you can move forward.

I’m currently getting my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado and recently completed my practicum at Integrative Life Center on Music Row in Nashville.  I am also a certified reiki master. If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say creativity, curiosity and connection. I’m a longtime children’s author and artist, passionate about the power of story and self-expression as a way to better understand ourselves and others. Topping my list of favorite things are my family and friends,  plus nature, good coffee and key lime pie. Nowhere on my list are centipedes, olives and winter camping.
