My approach to therapy is rooted in radical compassion and validation. I believe that feeling safe inside of our bodies and in our relationships is critical in the healing work. I really enjoy helping clients understand early childhood messages and how those relational wounds impact how we show up today.
I specialize in working with individuals with OCD and eating disorders from a person-centered, trauma-informed lens that honors the roles of attachment and connection. I utilize an eclectic approach incorporating somatic aspects of exposure and response prevention, elements like values from ACT and dialectics from DBT. My framework for therapy is grounded in a collaborative, feminist approach.
Outside of work, I love to read and write. In the past two years, I have lived in four states and will be in three countries this summer. I am also, funnily enough, allergic to sloths.
