“Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within.” -Dr. Gabor Maté

When we can grow to be curious and learn to accept and love all parts of ourselves even the ones we’re most ashamed of, then we can access a greater depth of healing and understanding than ever before.I’m not afraid to sit in the full, unfiltered range of emotions with clients. I want them to know that this is a safe and sacred place where everyone, every body is welcomed. I am here to partner with them on their journey and to help guide them into honoring their stories, find their healing, and learn how to embrace and love their truest, most authentic selves.

The way I like to approach therapeutic work is through a person-centered and attachment-based lens, while integrating elements from self-compassion, polyvagal theory, somatic work, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I believe my clients are ultimately the experts on themselves and their stories. My place as the therapist is just to help walk alongside of them in their journey. Guiding clients through relationship wounds, anxiety/depression, complex trauma, and grief and loss are just a handful of issues I’m passionate about working through. As a bi-racial person, I also welcome those coming with issues of identity and belonging. Clients that identify as a part of a marginalized community deserve a therapist that can hold space for the complexity and injustice they've experienced.

I’m currently completing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. I’m a firm believer that a good cup of tea and a long walk on a trail with my partner  can remedy any hard day for me. Give me all the books, music, art, and any conversation that takes us deep into our feelings and why life is so beautiful, tragic, and mysterious.
