New Moon Rising Wellness Scholarship Fund
Historically underrepresented groups are those who have, throughout history, had lower representation and access to mental health care due to structural discrimination and racism.
It’s not just race or ethnicity that predisposes certain groups to lower access to care; gender identity, ability, and sexual orientation (and intersections of these with race/ethnicity) are also factors that pose barriers to receiving quality mental health care.
The New Moon Rising Wellness Scholarship fund was created to help reduce barriers for people in marginalized communities seeking quality mental health care.
The New Moon Rising Scholarship Fund is open and accepting applications through August 31, 2022. Scholarship recipients will be notified by September 30, 2022.
