Andi Tiller (she/they)
"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection". -Budha
Hi, lovely humans! My Name is Andrea; I also go by Andi. I am currently a Master's Level Counseling Intern. My therapeutic approach is based on evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral and humanistic approaches, with a focus on person-centered therapy. I have a passion for working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ teens and young adults who are figuring out their identities or struggling with depression and/or anxiety. I love to use expressive arts to help folks process thoughts and emotions, and I strive to stay compassionate, inclusive, and non-judgmental while creating a grounded, eclectic place of safety for others.
I truly believe the core of a good counseling session is to understand you as a person. We all have different stories, and understanding those stories can help us grow. Sometimes we may not know fully the negative impact we are adding to our lives. Identifying and rewriting helps us write the next best chapter for our lives!
Lastly, I am committed to creating a space where you can be authentically you.
Outside of the counseling office, you can find me crocheting, reading, or listening to music. Music and all forms of art are a big passion for me. This includes shows and movies. Fun Fact: One of my all-time favorite Movies is Spirited Away!
Under Supervision of Megan Thomas, LPC-MHSP, License #4750(TN) and Southern New Hampshire’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling faculty who are licensed mental health providers
