I view the therapy hour as time to foster your own capacity for growth by creating a safe environment for which self-discovery and reflection is possible.

My work is focused primarily on supporting individuals cope with and recover from debilitating anxiety. I am passionate about working with individuals who have been previously hesitant towards or suspicious of therapy (been there!) as well as individuals who are currently in couples therapy and are seeking further individual support. Whether you are anywhere from a teenager or young adult with social anxiety to an older adult navigating the stressors of life transitions due to relationships, career, or health, it is my goal to hold a space for you to identify what is happening within you as you tell your story and identify pain points along the way.

As a clinician, I would describe myself as curiously hopeful. Together we will learn to be curious about your apprehensions, body language, sparks of interests, emotional expression, use of humor, and inclusion of details in storytelling as we work to better understand what makes you, you. I believe that relationships are important, and allowing ourselves to be seen and known in order to grow can be a gift when approached thoughtfully and gently.

In our time together, we will get to know you and your unique perspective on the world by communicating in a variety of ways through techniques such as expressive arts, Brainspotting, and sand tray. We will use the relationship we create as a vehicle to process your own interpersonal stressors and barriers to increased self-worth while exploring your personal values and integrating mindfulness practices.

Outside of the office, I love spending time outdoors and trying out creative hobbies (currently in the process of learning to sew and garden!)
