“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” — Brené Brown
Showing up as your full self can feel uncomfortable, exhausting, or even impossible sometimes. Maybe you’ve spent years being the “strong one,” overthinking every interaction, carrying anxiety in your body, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the people around you. Maybe part of you knows something needs to shift, but you’re not quite sure where to begin.
I see therapy as a space where you don’t have to perform, shrink yourself, or have everything figured out before you walk in. My role isn’t to tell you who to be; it’s to help you better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with the parts of you that may have gotten buried beneath survival mode, self-doubt, relationships, or past pain.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, self-esteem concerns, women’s issues, and attachment or relational challenges. My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the mind-body connection. I draw from Narrative Therapy, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, Brainspotting, and Somatic Integration to support healing in a way that feels thoughtful, individualized, and sustainable.
I’m especially passionate about helping clients explore the stories they’ve carried about themselves — the ones shaped by relationships, culture, expectations, and life experiences, and creating space for new ways of relating to themselves with more compassion and clarity. I believe healing isn’t about becoming a completely different person; often, it’s about feeling more connected, regulated, and at home within yourself.
My work is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. Whether we are processing difficult experiences, untangling relational patterns, learning emotional regulation tools, or simply creating space to breathe and slow down, I strive to make therapy feel grounded, genuine, and human.
I earned my B.S. in Psychology and my Ed.S. in Professional Clinical Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University. I have completed trainings in TF-CBT, Gottman Method Level One, and Brainspotting Phases One and Two.
Wherever you are in your process, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
