For individuals looking for themselves:
What if your therapist could be someone who has weathered similar storms before? Because of my own experience with ADHD and anxiety, I’ve been where you are. I know how hard it can be. I work with people who struggle to navigate major life changes, chronic stress, grief/loss, burnout, lack of focus, or low self-esteem.
I use an integrative approach with evidence-based methods tailored to your individual needs. My therapeutic style is relaxed, intentional, and creative. I’ll take the time to get to know you and understand your strengths, values and beliefs. Together we'll identify practical ways to manage difficult emotions and bring more ease to your life. I offer in-person therapy in Brentwood and Franklin, convenient to Nashville, Murfreesboro and Spring Hill. Telehealth (online counseling) is also available for folks residing anywhere in Tennessee, Ohio, and South Carolina. I invite you to take whatever time you need to decide what’s next for you.
Meanwhile, I’d be happy to arrange a phone consultation to discuss your questions, fears and hopes for the therapy process. Whenever you’re ready, I’m here to support you in building a more confident and fulfilling life.
For parents looking for their child, teen, or young adult:
Is your child struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or meltdowns caused by overwhelming emotions? I help kids and teens navigate tricky issues like ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or major life changes. With specialized training in Client-Centered Play Therapy and Expressive Arts, I offer a safe space where clients from age 6 to 17 can feel at ease.
My approach to working with children and young people is creative and flexible, based on their specific needs. I love getting to know them and using their passions, strengths, and values in the therapeutic process. My goal is for your child to feel truly heard and understood, and for you to feel more confident as a parent by learning tools to support your child through challenges at home. I offer in-person counseling in Brentwood and Franklin, convenient to Nashville and Spring Hill.
If you have questions about the best therapy approach for your child’s needs, I’d be happy to offer a brief phone consultation at no charge. Let’s find the right fit to help your child move past today’s difficulties and into a brighter future.
About Sheldon:
I’ve lived in Nashville for 15 years. Outside of the office, I enjoy going on adventures with my wife and our rescue dog, trying new restaurants, going to NSC games (COYBIG!), visiting family, hanging out with friends, golfing, and cooking.
