Upon Completion, participants will be able to:
Conceptualize Borderline Personality Disorder through a complex and developmental trauma framework, including the roles of attachment disruption, nervous system dysregulation, and chronic relational stress in symptom formation.
Identify and apply at least three somatic and trauma-informed interventions that support stabilization, affect tolerance, and nervous system regulation when working with clients presenting with BPD traits.
Demonstrate increased clinical attunement and ethical responsiveness by recognizing rupture-repair dynamics, managing high-intensity emotional states, and attending to clinician.
