Join this interactive workshop to learn how to incorporate trauma-informed approaches into your counseling practice. This learning environment will consist of lecture and experiential exercises.

Upon Completion, participants will be able to:

  1. Conceptualize Borderline Personality Disorder through a complex and developmental trauma framework, including the roles of attachment disruption, nervous system dysregulation, and chronic relational stress in symptom formation.

  2. Identify and apply at least three somatic and trauma-informed interventions that support stabilization, affect tolerance, and nervous system regulation when working with clients presenting with BPD traits.

  3. Demonstrate increased clinical attunement and ethical responsiveness by recognizing rupture-repair dynamics, managing high-intensity emotional states, and attending to clinician.
