I believe that we are communal beings, wired for connection with ourselves and others. Connection allows us to experience the art of being seen and known, of bearing witness and being witnessed, in all our beauty and pain and messiness.

I primarily work with individuals with histories of complex or developmental trauma, as well as acute trauma. I appreciate working with people navigating complicated grief or ambiguous loss, as well as people struggling with or recovering from disordered eating, body images issues, or diet culture. I welcome anyone who feels hesitant (or maybe even skeptical!) towards their emotions or therapy; often, our greatest fears and desires are hiding under ambivalence and doubt, and I love treading into those waters with people.

As a therapist, I’m warm, relational, honest, and direct. I love being creative and spontaneous in session, weaving in elements of ACT, mindfulness, parts work, and somatic/experiential techniques. I believe that repairing our relationships with our bodies is intrinsic to the healing process, and I aim to support clients in their exploration of more embodied ways of living. I am trained in Brainspotting (level 1), clinical hypnotherapy, and Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration. I am currently receiving training in Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders. I work from a Health at Every Size, anti-diet culture, and systems-oriented framework.

I love the translation poet Padraig O Tuama gives for the Irish understanding of what it means to trust someone: “You are the place where I stand on the day when my feet are sore.” My hope is for people to find softness, ease, and respite in our time together.

When I’m not with clients, you can find me cooking for my friends, reading on my porch, or finding a good spot to hang up my hammock in the park.
